Originally from the wine country of Northern California,
I now own 3 acres on a private 35 acre lake in Sanger, Texas and live on Lake Lewisville full time on the North East side in Little Elm. I would love to share the joys of lake living with you! If you need to sell a lakefront home, I understand the special circumstances that come with selling a lakefront property.
My first year in Real Estate I was named Rookie of the Year for my office and have been a multi-million dollar seller ever since. I was also #1 in lakefront sales and listings for Lake Lewisville in 2008.
I have a BA in French with a minor in Spanish and a post graduate degree in education. I was a public school teacher for many years before becoming a real estate agent. My background in teaching prepared me well for the challenges of being an exceptional realtor. Answering questions effectively, problem solving, and handling paperwork efficiently are among my strengths. Publishing the school newspaper and the yearbook gave me lots of experience in taking eye catching photos and creating appealing print media.
People often ask me why I left teaching to become a real estate agent. I loved being in the classroom and seeing the children’s progress was very gratifying. But now that I have two children of my own, job flexibility is important to me. I am able to volunteer at my son’s school every week, be active in the PTO and take care of my clients’ needs in a timely manner. And helping people navigate their way through the sometimes difficult path of home sales is as equally gratifying.
I believe knowledge is power. As a life long learner, I have taken several additional courses in marketing, technology, contracts and negotiations just to name a few so that I am an expert in my field. I will always continue to read trade magazines and attend new courses so that I am always abreast of market trends and advances in ways of doing business.
I specialize in lakefront and water view properties on lakes in North Texas. As I work on several lakes, I have a broad knowledge of the area and work extensively with my clients to find the lake that is the best fit for them. My listings often get more exposure as a result because often purchasers will contact me regarding one lake and end up purchasing on a different lake entirely.
Technology is the present and future of real estate transactions. I add my listings, uploading several photos, to 40+ websites, including the #1 and #2 websites in the industry, Realtor.com and Century21.com respectively and close to half a dozen lake specific websites.
My main duties for you are as a consultant, a negotiator and the overseer of transactional details. I will work extensively to understand your needs, so that I show you properties that will suit your tastes, lifestyle and budget.
